The Giver by Lois Lowry wants some new chapter names instead of numbers like the ones he has now so I am here to give it to him.
One - complex feelings
I believe that this would be a good chapter heading because the chapter was all about the feelings of the family. It is also about Jonas complex feelings about something in December.
Two- The coming of December.
This is a good title because Jonas and his family were talking about Ceremony in December and how it will be fine when it comes.
Three - The Changing Apple
The biggest part about this chapter was about an apple that Jonas and his friend were tossing around that would change in mid air. This was only noticeable by Jonas.
Four- The Release
This chapter talked about when the elderly were release from care. They don't know where they go.
Five- The Stirring
Jonas has a "stirring" feeling for his friend Fiona and he had to take a pill to make the feelings stop.
Six- The Waiting
Jonas is waiting to get his future job but he has to watch the other ceremonies first. He is excited for it.
Seven- The Skip
Jonas was waiting to be called up but he was skipped over and he doesn't know why. He is getting very nervous.
Eight- The Receiver
Jonas has been selected to be the Receiver of Memory which is apparently an important job.
Nine- The Instructions
The instruction for Jonas training was the most important thing in this section. The most notable one was not to lie
Ten- The Meeting
This is the first meeting between Jonas and the Old Receiver of Memory.
Eleven- The Weather
The Giver gave Jonas memories of snow, sunshine, and sunburn. There is weather control were they live so they don't have those things
Twelve- Red
Jonas is experiencing the color red. He didn't see color before because long ago they wanted everything to be the same so they got rid of color.
Thirteen- The New Life
Jonas is becoming use to the life of the Receiver of Memory but it is still a very hard and lonely life to live.
Fourteen- The Choices
Jonas becomes angry about how the government took away choices in peoples lives but he still believes that people could also make the wrong choice so it should be chosen for them.
Fifteen- The Horrors of Memories
The Giver was in much pain of a certain memory so Jonas took it away from him. This was a very bad memory of war.
Sixteen- Love
When the memory of a Christmas day is given to Jonas he realizes the importance of family and love. When he asked his mother and father if they loved him they didn't understand love.
Seventeen - The Loss of Childhood
When a game of war is being played a bad memory of war comes and Jonas realizes how different he is from everyone else. He has lost is childhood
Eighteen- Rosemary
The Giver talked about the past Receiver who was named Rosemary. She couldn't handle all of the pain.
Nineteen- The Secrets of Release
The rules are that when twins are born one must be release but Jonas didn't know what happened when people were release. The Giver showed him the baby being release but by doing that he found out that they killed them.
Twenty- The Plan
When the Receiver leaves all the memories are given to the people and Jonas wants to give them these memories so he made a plan with the giver.
Twenty one- The Escape
Jonas left his town with Gabe and now they are running away from their home.
Twenty two- The Survival
Jonas and Gab are running out of food and they are lost
Twenty three- The End
It is the end of the story and Jonas and Gab make it to another town. They are now human.

I’d Like to Tell You of The Fault in Our Stars
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is one of the saddest book I have ever read for the death and heart brake in the story. With all this death though there is a lot of things I would like to tell Hazel and Gus before they both die. I would also like to tell somethings about his book to. So to start with Hazel. I’d like to tell you even if you are a grenade you are on worth jumping into. I’d like to tell you that you don't need to know the ending of Imperial Affliction you can make your own ending. I’d like to tell you get off that couch and do something with your life because your life will be short but that should be a bigger reason for you to go out. I’d like to tell you that you are beautiful with or without cancer. I’d like to tell you to take chances and live your life. Now I would like to tell Gus something. I’d like to tell you that oblivion is inevitable but the kindness you do for others will live forever. I’d like to tell you that your love did change peoples lives. Now I would Like to talk to John Green. I’d like to tell you that you made me very sad and I don't know if I will ever stop crying. I’d like to tell you that your book opened my eyes to death and made me realize that there are real people going through these fears. These are the things I would like to tell these people.

You Are There Animal Farm
If I went into the story of Animal Farm by George Orwell I would try to change many things. The first thing I would do was help with the revolution because that was the main thing that helped the animals for a short period of time. After the revolution though that is when I will start acting up to make sure that "all animals are equal" and not one animal becomes "More equal". I would do this by precipitating in the voting meetings and learning the laws by heart so no one could take away my rights that I was givin. I would also like to question the authority even if it costs me because no animal seems to do that in the book. It is important to question because if you don't authority figures may think they could do whatever they want and get way with it. When I am there I will not be tricked by Squealer no matter how convicing he is and I would try to keep the other animals from being brain washed into believing their lies. I will remember the rules as they are put so that no one will trick me into believing something that is not there. I will always sing the song Beast of England. I will do my best to change the outcome of the book so all animals are equal because that is the way the Old Mare wanted it to be. I might not servive long doing this but I will not stop until the farm is good for all the animals or when I die.

Word Bank on Hitler's Moutain
Word bank: celebrating, concrete, died, chancellery, scary, mountain, flag
On Hitler's Mountain
Over there is Hitler's Mountain
Where he sits behind his fountain
As he watches the children out front
Like the tiny blond girl Irmgard A. Hunt.
Irmagard look up to see a man who was scary
who look back at her as the man said Hail Mary
For he saw in her the perfect little blond girl.
With in Irmagard he saw a tiny blond pearl
That would become his nation concrete
which will not be perfectly complete
until all his enemies have died.
All their families will cry.
He will celebrating
this would be a blessing.
He would raise high his flag
and there finally be able to brag
to his new very own chancellery.
This thought makes him very cheery.
The thought of being leader on his own
But his thoughts made him very overblown
So much so that he forgot about little Irmgard
Who ran fast across the very large front yard
Far away from the crazy mean old man
Who always seems to have a plan
On how to destroy the world
But his mind is whirled
and no one will listen
to a man like ricin
On Hitler's Mountain
Over there is Hitler's Mountain
Where he sits behind his fountain
As he watches the children out front
Like the tiny blond girl Irmgard A. Hunt.
Irmagard look up to see a man who was scary

After Amelia
The book Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight was much different than I had expected. It did have a lot of those soap opera twist but they were more elaborate then I had expected. Even though I didn't all of the good twist from the cover I do believe I was very close on the basics of the story.
I was correct on some of the parts like the mother and daughter relationship. In the story is about a single mom named Kate who has hard working job that requires most of her time and energy. Kate's daughter Amelia is a good and smart student. One day Amelia kills herself for some unknown reason but her mom doesn't believe that she killed herself but she thinks someone killed her. The rest of the story is about Kate putting the pieces of her daughters life back together to find out what really happened. As Kate goes through her daughters stuff she finds out how crazy her daughters life was. Even being right on that part I was wrong about Amelia's intents to tell her mom. I will not tell you what happens because it is a fun book I do recommend but I thought that it would have almost been Amelia's fault but she was just stuck and she didn't want to worry her mom. I also didn't expect the mom to also have so many secrets as well. The book was also much darker then I thought it would have been. Overall though it was an amazing book.

Before Amelia
"Before and After"
Reconstructing Amelia
By Kimberly McCreight
As I am about to start this book I do know more than I should for my mother read it before me and told me a bit about it. She said how much she enjoyed the book and told me that there will be a lot of twists that resemble a spanish soap opera. It will never happen in the real world, it won't make sense, and you love each one. Even with all that information I still don't know much about the book but what I can get from the title and front cover.
The Title Reconstructing Amelia tell us that the story will be about this girl named Amelia. The title also gives the idea that something is broken in Amelia's life and someone is putting her back together. The title also gives off a dark tone to it especially the word recontructing. Reconstructed is not a word used on people but on inanimate objects. The author maybe trying to say that the thing that broke Amelia also broke her humanity making her inanimate.
The cover of the book also gives a very dark tone to it because it shows a thick fog covering a city and a young looking girl with her back turned away. It also says on the front "Do you know what's really going on inside your daughters head?". This tells me that Amelia's parents have something to do with this because Amelia must be the daughter. That line also gives the impression that there is something wrong with Amelia mentally or she is thinking of doing something bad. There is another line that says "How much would you tell your mother?". I believe this line is telling us that Amelia has a lot of secrets. The line also makes me believe that the mother might be the person reconstructing because the dad isn't mentioned.
I am not going to read the back because that might tell me too much about the story but I do think I have a good idea about the story. The story I think is going to be a messed up girl who mother is going to try to put her back together.
